You know that thing with London - you don't see people for ages and then you run into them and catch up with their lives. All those Christmas/New Year walks were bound to lead to these happenings. Michael. Michael. Haven't seen him for ages. It really was ages - he has been living in Nigeria for 3 years. 3 years! He has been building radio stations and filming and lots of other interesting things. He said one of the great things about being there is it reminds you that most people don't live here - London - or anywhere like here. This is not the centre of it all. One third of all Africans come from Nigeria. Isn't that interesting. Doesn't that make you think? Or am I just full of New Year thoughts?
I made an amazing trip to Uganda. Love Uganda, the people, the red soil, the lush greens, the food, all those people on bicycles....
